Save your interior with early advice

Building or renovating a home often brings with it worries. Curtains, window decorations and blinds are not always the first things that come to mind. However, it can be useful and even advisable to think about the details early in the building process.

Avoid the misery afterwards

All too often, I find that the building owner is faced with a fait accompli when it turns out that the arrangement and incorporation of the windows is not suitable for the desired curtain system.

  • Windows that open against the ceiling.
  • Obstructive and in-sight radiators.
  • Visible connection of the motorization of the curtain system.
  • Niches provided for concealed system, but too small….

These are all perfectly avoidable situations. At least if you think about it early enough!

The devil is in the details

Nothing as ugly as a beautifully finished interior, with motorized systems, where the connection of cabling remains blatantly in plain sight.

Prefer uncompromising results? My experience in and knowledge of interior design and the many curtain systems available can bring the solution.

Input for your plans

No stone unturned towards architects, as they often have their hands full with the practical, technical and aesthetic aspects of the building itself. Ask us for advice during the construction process. That way, pitfalls can be closed before they irrevocably create disturbing finishing details. You also avoid having to resort to solutions you would rather not have chosen.

I provide specific advice based on a plan or on site. Together we work on an interior finished to perfection, with appropriate textiles or system that you can enjoy for a long time to come.

Matching fabrics and painting

Why not also immediately choose a fabric that fits the style you are aiming for? In this way, painting can also be perfectly matched to it. After all, paint is easier to adjust than fabric.

In interior textiles, fabric collections are made up of a wide, yet limited number of colors. It would be a shame that the fabric you love just doesn’t exist in an ideal hue that matches with your already done paint job. Whereas you could have easily adjusted the paint color slightly to make the whole thing sparkle. Fortunately, it’s not a case of not being able to find fabric if it’s already been painted, but it does limit your free choice of a fabric that might just be 100% to your liking in terms of look and feel.

Swatch book or mood board

Look at your remodel or project as a whole. Match all the materials, bring together samples of all the chosen materials, including the accessories for finishing touches. Even if you don’t buy them right away because the budget doesn’t allow it yet. Based on this collection, decisions will become so much clearer and you will avoid frustrating moments afterwards.
