Sablon hotel – Bruges

Bruges’ oldest hotel – the Grand hotel du Sablon – received an extreme makeover from its new owner Christophe Vanswieten in 2019. The hotel was completely renovated fasset® was allowed to provide the perfect curtains and pillows.

Architectural firm ARQ involved us in the process and we came up with a quote that was better for the client than originally estimated. This was partly due to quality fabrics purchased by us directly from manufacturers rather than through distributors. The hotel used velvet, also known as velour, a fabric that is on the rise in both hotel and home interiors.

That luxury was allowed to radiate is evidenced by the embroidered logos on the curtains at the entrance.

Sleek blinds in a transparent fabric were chosen for privacy. Just because a building has a long history does not mean that the interior or its decoration should never be renewed. The owners resolutely chose to change and modernize the building and the result is to be seen.
